Terms of Use

1. What the Site is

The Site offers free educational tools and content for people who travel for work, including a calculator that estimates what a travel job nets after per diem, lodging, travel and taxes; a map of large construction sites; and location guides for specific sites. It also offers an email list.

2. Not tax, legal or financial advice

Everything on the Site is general information and estimates, not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. Nothing on the Site creates a professional or advisory relationship. Whether per diem is taxable to you depends on facts the Site cannot know, including your tax home, how long you are at a work location, and how your employer pays you. Before you accept a job, file a return or make a financial decision, confirm your situation with a qualified tax professional.

Calculator results depend entirely on the numbers you enter and on assumptions stated in the tool. Tax rates, IRS rules and federal (GSA) per diem rates change, generally each October 1. Results may be out of date or wrong for your situation.

3. Location guides and site information

Guides and map entries are compiled from public sources such as government filings, census data, federal rate tables and published news reporting. Conditions at a job site, including housing, costs, traffic and pay practices, change quickly. We do not guarantee that any guide is complete, current or accurate, and each guide should be treated as a starting point for your own questions.

Everything on the Site comes from public sources or from the Site’s own reporting — calls placed in its own name, with the purpose stated, to RV parks, union halls and project offices. The Site does not publish confidential, proprietary or non-public information belonging to any employer, project owner or contractor.

Per Diem Wealth is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any project owner, developer, contractor, subcontractor, union or employer named on the Site. Names of companies and projects are used only to identify them.

4. Your use of the Site

You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• copy, scrape or republish the Site’s guides, tools or data in bulk, or use them to build a competing product;
• interfere with the Site’s operation or security, or try to access systems you aren’t authorized to access;
• use the Site in violation of any law.

The Site is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to the email list.

5. Email list

If you sign up, we will send each new site guide when it is published and a note when a new tool goes up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. See the Privacy Policy for how your email address is handled.

6. Ownership

The Site, including its text, calculator, map, design, name and logo, is owned by Per Diem Wealth or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Sharing a link to any page is welcome. Government data referenced on the Site remains in the public domain.

7. Links to other sites

The Site links to government pages, news reports and other outside sites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND TOOLS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PER DIEM WEALTH AND ITS OWNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TAXES, PENALTIES, INTEREST, LOST WAGES OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SITE, INCLUDING ANY DECISION TO ACCEPT OR DECLINE A JOB. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE IS LIMITED TO $100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Per Diem Wealth and its owners from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Camden County, New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will show when. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
