Privacy Policy

1. The calculator

Figures you enter into the calculator (pay, per diem, lodging, mileage and so on) are processed entirely in your browser and saved only on your device, so they are there when you come back; “Clear my numbers” removes them. They are not sent to us, and we do not store them. If you use “Send this to someone,” the figures are written into the link itself, and anyone you give that link to can see them.

2. Email sign-up

If you sign up, we collect the email address you enter. If you pick a job site on the map and sign up for its guide, we also record which job site you picked, so we can tell you when that guide is ready. Sign-up uses double opt-in: you’ll get a confirmation email, and you’re only added once you click it.

We use your email address only to send:

• each new site guide when it is published, and
• a note when a new tool goes up on the Site.

Nothing else. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, and we’ll stop.

Our email service provider, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), stores your address and sends the emails on our behalf. Like most email services, Kit may record whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked. Kit’s privacy policy is available at kit.com.

3. Information collected automatically

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request, in order to deliver the Site, protect it against abuse and provide us with aggregate visit counts. We do not use this information to identify you.

The Site does not use Google Analytics or other third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts are served from perdiemwealth.com itself, not from Google Fonts or any other third party.

4. Browser storage

The Site saves a few small settings in your browser’s local storage, for example the figures you last entered into the calculator, or that you already signed up so the sign-up box doesn’t keep appearing. These stay on your device and are not sent to us. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings. The Site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that run the Site and email list for us (currently Cloudflare and Kit), when required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If Per Diem Wealth is ever sold or merged, the email list may transfer to the new owner, who will be bound by the promises in this policy.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Once you unsubscribe we stop emailing you; to have your address removed from our email provider entirely, email us.

7. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe at any time. You can also email us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law.

8. Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we’ll delete the address.

9. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Future paid features

If we offer paid features, we will update this policy before collecting any payment or account information, and explain what is collected and how it is stored.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will show when. If we make a material change to how we use your email address, we will tell subscribers by email.
